Addresses the need for a wide bandwidth system that performs low latency,
real-time, 100% duty cycle time and frequency signal processing in a portable
form factor. It makes use of high performance computer hardware, software and
firmware to interrogate a 40 MHz input. The input is processed to generate a
spectral plot using a 64k FFT. There is a time raster plot that allows the
user to see the spectral behavior over time. Additionally the system can
perform arbitrary bandwidth sub band tuning of the signal down to 12.5 kHz
bandwidth, with a center frequency granularity of 6kHz.
The three checkboxes circled in red below toggle the min, max, and mean of
the spectral components computed over a single display block (~37.5 ms).
Stingray is deployed in a single rugged field case.
